LEARNING AGREEMENT
NAAD YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

COURSE STRUCTURE

The Naad Yoga Teacher Training (NYTT) is a three-fold programme consisting of

  • 36 hours of group learning, held in nine monthly sessions with a Naad Yoga teacher trainer. The sessions may be held in-person or online. Timings will be set by the teacher trainer.

  • 36 hours of self-learning with the Raj Academy WebSchool completed in a daily practice of 15-20 minutes. Two grades on WebSchool are to be completed per course year. \

  • 36 hours of guided learning in 36 weekly sessions with a personal tutor. The sessions may be held in-person or online. Timings will be agreed between the tutor and their assigned students.

MINIMUM COMMITMENT

By enrolling onto the NYTT course, students agree to actively learn for a minimum of 12 months and to complete 12 monthly payments. A course year entails two course grades, followed by a three-months period to review learnings, gain field experience and attend an Intensive Retreat.

CERTIFICATION

The Naad Yoga Teacher Training Certificate is offered in partnership with Yogi of Sound and will be issued upon completion of the following modules:

A) Successful completion of six grades on the Raj Academy WebSchool.

B) Completion of all monthly sessions with the Naad Yoga teacher trainer. If students are absent for more than three sessions per course year, the respective year is not considered complete.

C) Completion of all weekly tutor sessions.

If students are not able to attend any teaching or tutoring session, it is their responsibility to inform their instructor no later than 24 hours in advance and to catch up with the missed contents, e.g. by requesting a recording of the session.

D)  Completion of three Intensive Retreats. Intensive Retreats are held each year in North America, Europe and India. It is recommended to attend one retreat per course year and to join the India Retreat at least once. Costs for the retreats are not included in the course fee.

E) Completion of 108 hours of tutoring another student in the Seva-and-Sangat module in order to gain experience as a teacher supported by personal mentoring.

The NYTT certificate enables and authorises students to teach Naad Yoga independently and to offer NYTTs in partnership with Raj Academy and Yogi of Sound. An active membership in the Naad Yoga Council is compulsory for all teachers who offer NYTT.

If students have not completed the modules D and E, a Naad Yoga Diploma certificate can be issued on request upon successful completion of the modules A–C. A Naad Yoga Diploma enables students to teach Naad Yoga but does not authorise them to run NYTT courses. The modules D and E can be completed later any time to achieve the full qualification.

COURSE FEE SUBSCRIPTION

The course fee is set up online as a monthly subscription charged to a credit card. A deposit of $600 USD will be taken upon registration, which will be allocated to the total course fee. Nine monthly payments of $200 USD are charged over nine months from the course start date. The same structure applies for the second and the third course year.

Failed Payments

If failed payments are not seen to within two weeks after receiving written notice via email, WebSchool access will get removed, and the personal tutor will be informed. If failed payments are not resolved within a maximum of two months, this is regarded as course discontinuation.

Early Course Discontinuation

If students can’t pursue the course further, a written notice to [email protected] is required two weeks prior to the next payment date. If the next billing date occurs less than two weeks of notification, the monthly fee will get charged, and the subscription will be adjusted from the following month.

There will be no access to WebSchool, the student support team or any other resources after course discontinuation.

If students want to resume their learning after course discontinuation, the respective course year must be started again from the beginning, and full payments for the year will be taken, regardless of any prior payments made.

General Course Fee Information

The course fee does not include any fees for retreats, costs occurring for travel and accommodation or the costs for an instrument.

All payments charged are non-refundable.
